You are making me wish I had documented the places in my life which retain such vivid memory behind closed eyelids.
This is when you just have to take their word for it … ripe on one vine may not be ripe on another … go for it and taste one … if it’s not sweet, wait a week and then taste another. Buyer beware. but we’re talking tomatoes, not something endearing.
