So many choices these days, not like of yore.
There comes a time in new motherhood when you realize –shocked– you’re dressing your child as a hippy, collegiate, mad scientist, or athlete and it might actually effect their future choices. The child of course only wants to be loved and will wear a paper bag if it wins a hug. By the time motherhood’s powers wear thin you just close your eyes and pray a lot. I was totally thrilled to find construction boots just like mine for my two year old son; at 21 years old he was still wearing them. I was so proud!
