There were 2 photographs of the audience of a political rally with a Clinton, maybe ten years apart. In the earlier one the crowd is facing the candidate. In the recent one it’s a throng of selfie-takers— their backs to the celebrity. Cameras lifted high. Their own faces in the foreground, the camera making everyone beautiful.
